Lúc Lắcs owners, Ghanem Group and renowned designers Space Cubed Design Studio, travelled extensively through Thailand and Vietnam for the inspiration for this Southeast Asian offering inside Brisbane’s prestigious Queen’s Wharf precinct. The fitout was complex – with custom wallpaper, sash windows in the kitchen, and feature lighting needing to reflect the aesthetic of the streets of Southeast Asia in an elevated and sophisticated way.

This meticulously-executed store features a 28m-long, 6m-high rendered facade, marble accents, blonde wood parquetry flooring, custom joinery, curved forms, and incredible moulded ceilings holding custom lighting. The store’s two main areas, Collection Showcase and Diamond Destination, are connected by a striking custom-made alcove.

The specialist painter rendered the over-sized shopfront walls to an incredible level. There was special paint finishes to walls – a French wash – and incredible trowel work on the shopfront wall to embed the Michael Hill logo. The attention to detail, the ability to work to tight deadlines, and the teamwork displayed was second to none.
