IFA is excited to announce the launch of the 2025 Design Awards. This year’s awards program will determine the very best interior fitout designs in Australia.
The Design Awards recognise and celebrate the enviable talents of the designers who make our work and play spaces a joy to be in.
Our wonderful winners will be announced at a Gala Evening to be held in conjunction with IFA’s 25th National Conference on October 11, 2025 in Melbourne.
Common Questions
When do entries need to be submitted by?
Entries must be submitted by 30 April, 2025.
How many entries can I submit?
Multiple entries are permitted in each category. However, only one award per category will be permitted.
How is the judging done?
Judging of the awards will take place during October and November, 2023. Our esteemed judges will review all entry submissions and evaluate each submission on a pre-determined criterion. Judges will rate each entry to determine the finalists and winner in each category.
What are the categories?
The three main categories are Best Design–Retail, Best Design–Hospitality, and Best Design–Commercial. Each of these categories is further broken down into Design with Fitout Cost up to $500,000 and Design with Fitout Cost over $500,000.
What is the entry cost?

Non-member $100.00 +GST

When and where will the awards be presented?
The awards will be presented at a gala dinner on Saturday 11th October, 2025, as part of the IFA 25th National Conference, in Melbourne.
Where can I see the current entries?
As the judging of these awards is anonymous, we cannot display the entries until after the judging has taken place.
