Kingston Heath Golf Club

Kingston Heath Golf Club established in 1909 is situated in the sandbelt region in the southeast suburbs of Melbourne. The club undertook an extension and renovation of their existing golf shop within the club house.

Transform Golf Shop Specialists were engaged in March 2022 to undertake the end to end delivery including retail analysis, design and construction of the space. The goal was to create a layout that was easy to navigate; an efficient and flowing retail workspace; a design that was bright, open and inviting with strong connection to the existing clubhouse design. The look and feel was presented with a series of artist impressions, virtual walkthrough and floorplans.

The look included halos of illuminated coffer ceilings, highlighting key selling areas with strapping detail and mouldings consistent with the existing clubhouse embellishments.

The old carpet flooring was replaced with warm timber planks layered with a branded coir entry mat well and blue rug which defined key selling area.

New detailed joinery and shopfittings were installed into each dedicated selling space which highlighted and framed the merchandise. Loose fixtures where custom designed so that each season and occasion could be rethemed; inviting a new fresh look to capture revisiting members attention at each of their visits.

In September 2023, Transform’s Golf Shop Specialists team managed the onsite delivery of the project working closely with local building contractor Connellan Industries. After the shell was prepared by the builders, the fitout was completed by Transform’s team of expert installers.

On completion of the fitout, Transform’s retail team styled, merchandised and stocked the entire store, working alongside the Kingston Heath Golf Shop staff to prepare for the grand opening and a new beginning in a clean crisp Hampton’s inspired golf shop.
