We are thrilled to announce the launch of the 2025 Interior Fitout Awards, proudly sponsored by Laminex. This year’s awards will recognize the standout projects completed across Australia from 1 October 2023 to 30 April 2025.

The Interior Fitout Awards represent the pinnacle of achievement in Australian shopfitting and design, highlighting the immense talent in our industry that drives innovation and creativity in retail, hospitality, and workspaces nationwide.

These awards will again celebrate the exceptional craftsmanship we’ve come to expect, showcasing outstanding work in restaurants, clubs, healthcare facilities, commercial offices, and beyond.

Join us as we reveal our esteemed winners at a Gala Dinner on Saturday 11 October, 2025, in Melbourne.

Common Questions

When do entries need to be submitted by?

Entries must be submitted through this website before COB on 30 April, 2025.

How many entries can I submit?

Multiple entries are permitted in each category. However, only one award per category will be permitted. A win by the same project is capped at two, i.e. State and National.

How is the judging done?

Judging of the awards will take place during June and July 2025. Our judges travel to each location to inspect the fitout projects firsthand.

What are the State categories?

The state categories for 2024 have been grouped as follows: VIC/TAS, QLD/NT, NSW/ACT, WA, SA.

What is the entry cost?

ENTRY FEE FOR FIRST ENTRY
IFA Member $350.00 +GST
Non-member $1,000.00 +GST

ENTRY FEE FOR EACH ADDITIONAL ENTRY
IFA Member $175.00 +GST
Non-member $500.00 +GST

LATE ENTRY (RECEIVED AFTER 15 NOVEMBER 2023)

When and where will the awards be presented?

The awards will be presented at a gala dinner on Saturday 11th October, 2025, as part of the IFA 25th National Conference, in Melbourne.

Where can I see the current entries?

As the judging of these awards is anonymous (our judges are not aware of who each fitout was done by), we cannot display the entries until after the judging has taken place. To view last year’s finalists and winners, click here.
